Peristeri has four municipal theaters and an outdoor cinema, plus decent local nightlife, though most expats venture into Athens proper on weekends. The expat community is small and dispersed; you're living among Greek families, not a bubble. This suits remote workers or people with Athens jobs who want cheaper rent and a quieter, more local neighborhood than central Athens.
