Relocating to Manresa is hardly a glamorous proposition. This mid-sized Spanish city is best known for its professional basketball team, which won the national championship in 1998 in a shocking upset. Beyond that, the city offers little to write home about - the home arena seats just 6,000 fans, and the team has ping-ponged between the top and second divisions over the years. Bureaucracy is a persistent headache, with the club merging and rebranding multiple times since its founding in 1931.
