Weekends mean heading into Paris or exploring the Seine valley; Évry itself offers the Cathedral of the Resurrection and modern civic architecture, but little spontaneous social life. This suits remote workers or Paris commuters seeking cheaper rent and quiet, not people seeking community or local character.
