Lequn, China

With a population of just 39,271, Lequn is about as far from a bustling metropolis as you can get. The city is home to a historic building that once housed the provisional government of the Republic of Korea, but beyond that, there's not much to write home about. Bureaucracy is a persistent headache, and the local museum is really the only notable attraction.

Unless you're a history buff or have a specific reason to be in this sleepy corner of China, Lequn is probably not the place for you. It's the kind of town where life moves at a glacial pace and excitement is hard to come by.
