Jiazi, China

With a population of just 130,298, Jiazi is a sleepy backwater that offers little to entice the average expat. The bureaucracy here is a persistent headache, and the climate can be brutally hot and humid. This is not the vibrant, cosmopolitan city that many overseas dreamers have in mind. At best, Jiazi is a place to settle down and fade into the background - if you can handle the stifling sameness and officious red tape. For the average adventurer, there are far more compelling destinations in China.
